Boot-less !!!

i am no fashion freak but there are some trends that i don't mind trying. i am not that adventurous but i am also not a fuddy duddy old fashioned hag! there are times i like to play dress up , not to grab anyone's attention ( i hate that , actually!) and then , my mood can suddenly change and i prefer to go way beyond casual, almost on the verge of looking like a maid!!! LOL!Bags, shoes, accessories ... i love them all :) Shabby T shirts that fade at the shoulders, shorts that should not see the light of day LOL.... i love those too! I hope that makes me a happy medium , not too shabby all the time but not too much of a fashion snob either!
last night i was online and came across those online fashion sites. One particular site that i get my colored lens from also sells beautiful dresses :) and at very affordable prices. i am skeptical about the quality of the fabric though. But maybe i can try one first to see how nice they are.
And then in Facebook i saw this site for shoes and i am a sucker for those!!! i cant remember when i actually became an Imelda Marcos but i must have turned into one overnight , a decade ago!!! Hmmm, actually no, LOL i remember how i used to go to work with matching shoes for every outfit :P Ok, guilty as charged!! Call me Imelda Ean!

Anyway i saw this pair of low cut boots that caught my fancy right away. it would go so well with jeans :) And here is the pic ..... , but then i remembered how my "friends" had a very very long laugh when they found out that i wanted to get a pair of boots. I was quite disappointed cuz they really laughed their heads off! They didn't know that i had already worn out 3 pairs of those. I guess they have never seen me in one and thought that i was going to get those knee high boots. NOT THESE!!! They teased me for half a day , and that's like hours and hours!!! So i didnt get any for more than a year after that embarrassing and very frustrating trip! Sigh!
maybe they think i should dress old.... or maybe i am too old for boots! But then again they aren't the fashion police. The whole incident did make me think twice about mentioning that word every again in their presence!
if i do go out shopping and get a pair , i doubt if i will dare wear them in front of my friends! i dont's wish to be the laughing stock again! It was not a good day of memories but it will stay etched in my mind forever!
PS: In case u too think i look ridiculous in boots, these are the ones i used to wear. Are they so ridiculous? Be honest!( Have to change the pic cuz suddenly it disappeared) E-mbarrassed!!

Chippendales 2010

This has to be the event of the year!!! I first heard about this group of performers when i was chatting with my Jo online. The topic was hot bodied men , the rippling muscles kind ! She told me about these Las Vegas performers and i was thinking to myself that i would never ever have a chance to see them on stage unless i strike a million dollars or maybe get a free trip to Las Vegas.But my dream came true when one of my friends told me that she would be getting free tickets to watch these guys perform in Genting. This was such a hush hush affair that it was not even advertised in the papers. There was no publicity at all and we can understand why. I guess they dont even want to sell tickets cuz there will be tons of objections from all forces!I decided to try my luck and called up to ask for free tickets as well. And i demanded for them saying that i am a card member so why cant i get my hands on the tickets. They made me wait a couple of days before they finally told me that i have 2 ! i was overjoyed but i still wanted to get more tickets for the rest of my friends who had seen pics of the Chippendales and were raving about how hot they are!Friday came and we all met at the top of the highlands , and as we made our way into the showroom, we knew that this was the opportunity of a lifetime. Our seats were good but when the offer was open for anyone to come closer to the stage , i made the first move and rushed there with Fifi. We managed to persuade to join us , and i have no regrets. We were really up close and personal with the men and i loved every moment of it.They danced and gyrated to the music. The Asian one named Bryan seems to be everyone's fave. But i also like Kevin and Jaymes. Oh yeah , and Lind Walter ...woo hoo! Sigh , they were all hot and sexy. They really interacted with the audience, so there were hugs and kisses going around. And we even got a ripped shirt from Jaymes. Its in my possession now , thanks to S!!

forgetful

Just registered my children at tuition centre since February 2010. Their twice weekly classes, every Wednesdays and Fridays would commence at 8 am and ends at 11 am. The subjects enrolled English, Bahasa Malaysia, Maths and Science. These mandatory days would require both of them to get up extra early (includes yours truly la.. - 1st to wake up) at 630 am to kick start their day. Daily morning bath and then breakfast before off to tuition arriving before 8 am.

On 3rd March, I was so engrossed with work that I literally forgot to pick them !! Thank god for knocking my head as I suddenly just look at my watch, time 1145 am and I just burst out "SHIT"... my children !!! I rushed out from office driving at 100 rpm and just mumbling, OH SHIT OH SHIT !!! My heart was beating so quickly and THANK GOD.. I didnt die of heart attack !! THANK GODS As I approached the centre, I could see two figures standing outside with the heat wave and both of them sweating and safe !! My girl was at the verge of crying when she saw me approaching and I just kept saying I AM SO SORRY,,,, SO SORRY I forgot about the time !! I felt so bad about forgetting to pick them..... how could I forgot !!!

So today, Friday, 5th March, to ensure that I dont forget to pick them up, I had set up the alarm on my mobile @ 1045 am to remind myself to pick them up from the centre.

Wonder if the company we work for would appreciate us should one fine day, we leave the world.......... ??
