M blogging again

It's me, M......as promised to blog again, hehehe....

Already 3 weeks in HK, felt like have known this place for sometimes......

We had taufan passes by HK on Saturday and it was raining like cats and dogs for the whole day, still about 22 to 26 deg. even already into summer. Generally this time of the year shud be warmer and humid but not happening yet!!.....??

Thanks a lot to E for writting on our behalf to give our S some encouragement, friendship advise and of coz moral support......hehehe....the alphabet just fall at the right places.... Now, S you really make me curious...???

Well, this week end I will be settling into my new apartment at North Point.....about 25 mins to my work place by bus or MTR (inclusive of the waiting and walking time)....cool huh...!!
This apartment costs me HKD12,800 and it's a 2 bedroom apt measuring about 580 sq ft. Reasonably sized by Hong Kong standard. At least it is big enough to accomodate my visitors....haha... and very convenient. Never knew that setting up own place is such a tough job, got to look into so many tinny winny things like cups and saucers, pots and pans, pillows to bedspread, bla bla bla....not ending yet...(pengsan)....

Well, once I am over with my new place, I will be quiet busy with my work....seem like the more you know, the more you will have be involve and do.....that's work.....

I better get back to work now....... just a little update of me at the moment.

Signing off....M

For S ..... sorry .... support here from FEMS!

Hi S,
Read your last post and i know u were in a "quadrangle" ...or should i say "triangle" !!! It truly is like some Drama Minggu ini plot! I am sure u went thru shock , and then maybe flattered disbelief, and then embarrassment... and a million other emotions! I don't blame u.
I am doing this post cuz i know u said that u were searching for advice and answers. u didn't want to volunteer any details but we badgered u anyway. What to do, we are the KPC friends! i am sorry if we seem to be too curious but hey , drama la in our humdrum lives , ok??? !!
i noticed that after our little teasing and interrogations u sort of clammed up and i could even see that u were mentally slapping yourself silly for even confiding in us! Sorry la, Fren!!!
i realize now that its no laughing matter n i am sure it adds to your daily burdens of work and responsibilities. We asked u a simple question and u answered plainly and truthfully that u do not want to play with fire. And i agree , dear! This is not the bridge u want to cross. Stay on your side if u want to play it safe and remain sane. Macam not enough chaos in our lives!

Feeling uncomfortable and awkward may be the first few obstacles u have to endure , but given time, u will find that the other party will realize that one hand doesn't make much of a applause. And eventually it will die down , and u will no longer have to worry much.
If u really stand your ground, be sure of what u want or don't want, u will do ok. But like the 2 singles say la...u sure or not u don't want? HAHAHAHA! Pass to them , wink wink!
F= Friendship's
E= Everlasting
M=Moral
S=Support

Last of all , S , never feel shy about coming to us for help. We may tease , laugh , humour u, but deep in our hearts we will always be behind u , giving u that push or pull if u need it :) in whichever direction! In other words, whatever your decision will be, we will support u no matter what! Like my young ones always say Don't Worry, we got your back!!!! ;)

Stay Strong S!

E-ase yr burden if i can!

after effect

What would you do or how would you react when someone of the opposite gender comes to you one day and said hei "I like you"... oopsss.. or ouch ??!!
Honestly, i could only nod my head continously and awkardly trying to avoid eye contact at that moment of time.

The person will says nice things lah and flattered you till kingdom come. Would you feel awkard, frighten, threaten, or amused. Can imagine this is happening cos you will think it will only happen in movies but personnally ???? My oh my.....

Honestly, i was caught off guard by this revealation. I will not indulge who the person is (so please dont ask me, ok?) but i need to share this experience with you all. (am not proud of it either). Please share your thoughts..... I am not amused either by this.

procastinating
This is a "big" word for some people and i am one of these people. The above picture says it all. Yeah, I have been doubly busy since i dont know when. Could it be I am very poor with my time management as I never seem to get enough time to do other things that I would like to do besides working (like siao lang), the underpaid driver for my children - driving around fetching them from school and to and fro tuition, taking my dad for his medical checkup, going on business trips, meetings, appointments, ayooooooo..... endless list lah.... :-(
I reckon is my poor time management lah... as others are able to do more than my list. I wonder how. Can someone out there tell me how to go about as i out of my wits trying my best but 24 hours seems not sufficient to do all that i want. Everytime, when i look at the clock, cant believe time flies by.
When I knock off from work in the evening, goes back to mum's place for dinner and thereafter, relax by watching soap opera on TV. At times, the phone would be ringing or some sms would come in, aiya... @#$^% endless calls and sms. Then its time to go home and sleep.! Upon reaching home, I would try to do some reading on the days report via The Star and at times before i could finish going through the whole paper, my eyes would just "collapse" yawn..... bedtime.
Next day the same routine and have to continue from where i left off yesterday and of course additional new things seems to crop in....... Well thats life ??

my mental blogs

First of all, let's bow to M !!! Hahaha! She has finally posted her little "say" in this blog that actually belongs to all 4 of us!!! That was why it is called FEMS ( she being the M) Without her we would be just FES! ( and that sounds like some air borne parasite!) So thanks a bundle M!! Welcome and hope u are here to stay and be an honorary member forever!
Ok back to me, i shall call myself the mental blogger ~ at least for the last 3 weeks! I lay in bed at night , exhausted from the daily activities and i have all these ideas running thru my head. The words ramble across my mind , the essence of a new post. Sometimes i even giggle and smile when the words form some humorous sentence!! But the words drift into mid air and dissipate as i close my eyes and fall into slumber land.
I had so many posts in my mental blog ( Not a mental block , mind u! ~ i had a million things to say in here) .... ranging from my maidless 3 weeks to my mum's panic incident, .... and that day 2 ladies paid me the best compliment an instructor could ever get :) .... and when i was put to the test by another 2 ladies who seem to be not so vocally polite! They shot out opinions and remarks like little darts but i had my line dance students who darted them back with niceties about me ( thanks so much my loyal students!) .... and my funny encounter with one of my dance students who seems to have phobias and oddities that no one can even imagine!!!! She made us laugh till we had tears in our eyes.....And then the trip to Ipoh for the Pikom fair.....and more and more and more!!
If only i have time to sit here and type all those words now ..... i see them floating in my head! ...maybe one day..... as of now, they are my Mental blogs!
Eh-na-der-day!

Hello

Hi! there.....

Finally..... hah....am able to find myself into this hi-tech technology eassy writting. Looking back at all those blogs that my good buddies have contributed, I really felt bad for not making any effort to do it after more than a year...Thousand apology gals.. Looks like it's going take me days to read all the blogs posted by my buddies.....since March 2007.!!

Anyway, I am M, represented by the Many, Much, More, Makan etc etc.....
I managed to read the last 2 blogs posted by S and E for a start and felt so touch and emotional over the messages. This is the 2nd time tears came rolling down since I am here in this foreign land (Hong Kong)....the 1st was on the 2nd day I arrived..... kinda of miss home....one week after I was back home again....hehehe....

Well, this is my 1st attempt to blog, hopefully I am doing well......

Let's start off from today....managed to get all the FEMS online chatting over msn.....the 4 chiapkoot kakis.....and most of the Fridays were our session day when E was introduced my classmates until S attended yoga class...hmmm...and of course now with me away from Klang they would be looking for replacement.......hopefully they will find a "Keng" one..hahaha...

Now that I am blogging, felt like I have hundred and one things to share and say....donno how to begin with..?????? maybe making up those missing moment that was suppose to share much earlier..... I still remember during my younger days or rather school days, I really hated writing essays...its like poison,this must be the reason why I have never contributed.

A piece of good news before I sign off for now, (promise to blog soon) I have finally concluded the deal for my permanent apartment in Hong Kong...now my buddies will have enough room to bunk in....when they are here....looking forward........but cost me HKD12,000.00.....sob..sob..sob.....

Thank god for answering my prayers.......amen......

Cheers from M until then.....bet it's going to be soon......

choices in life

There are some people who are born with silver spoon or golden spoon. Where else some of us are born with the wooden spoon. Nevertheless, it is the upbringing of the family that will tell if they are brought up properly or otherwise.

One case that happen recently which i hope will bring that person down to earth and mend the way the person live and behave. Well, lets just say, the person was born with the silver or platinum spoon lah...... arrogant, spendthrift and many more (you all have creative mind, right ?? hehehe).

Like the Malay proverb, sepandai tupai melompat, akhirnya jatuh ke lantai juga. Well, the person thought that telling different people different version of happening, everyone around is ignorant and will not put one to one together !! How naive but deadly shrewd..... Anyway, semua udah terbongkar lah yesterday.......... but dont know what has transpired in their home. Will probably know some but not all of it. Lets hope the person learns and the family not to pamper too much on their children by giving in to everything without asking the big "WHY"
Well, I also hope that I will be able to bring up my children well and look forward to their working life in the real world. I of course will try not to pamper them too much (which parent wouldnt) and hope that I am doing the right thing in their life.
I know for the fact, E has done a tremendous job with her lovely girls. Kudos to you, E..... You are not just a mum but "Research Associate in the field of child development and human relations"... sounds big, right ? Well it is definitely very very true fact. I hope that I will one day have that satisfaction when my children grows up....
To continue the program of research (which mother doesnt), in the laboratory and in the field (normally we would say indoors and outdoors) and working for my "Masters" (1st the lord, and then the whole family) amd already have two credits (my son and daughter) and of course our job is the most demanding in humanities (any mother out there care to disagree ?) and we often work more than 14 hours a day (24 is more like it). But of course our job is more challenging that most run-of the mill careers and the rewards are more of a satisfaction rather than just the money lah....
Motherhood - a glorious career. Big Title for each :
Grandmother - Senior research associates in the field of child development and human relations
Great grandmother - Executive senior research associates
Aunts - Associate research assistants (more for M and F)
cheers.... from S
