unpredictable week

Hhmmm....... my week didnt start too well. :-(

Firstly, on Monday morning, on the start of the day for the new week, got lectured by my boss for an hour plus together with my colleague. All because of one person who cannot stand being in the KIASU shoes. Being the GM of a corporate company does not mean you are always right, so peeerrrrfecttttt and expect everyone - customers, staff to work like and behave like you !! This person smiles at you and talks to you like a friend but deep inside.... cursing, swearing and having grudge against you for things said or done unintentionally. Our simple mind would says, eh, we are all "friends" and sometimes we talk without thinking or using our head. To us statement or sentences said or uttered are norm and not taken seriously rather in comical thoughts or jokingly said very innocently. But no, our friend is sooooooooooooo super sensitive that a joke is taken as AN INSULT !! My goodness, this is so unmanly............... If you are not in the good books, you are DEAD meat !!
I am going to stay clear and far from this person. Even if we meet up, I will just say helloooooooo n shut up until it is time to say "GOODBYE" (and good ridiance - spelling correct, ah ?? :-) ). Stay clear and far away from this #@$%^

Last night, my Dad was diagnosed of having a heart attack. He was experiencing some chest pain on and off the last two days but kept to himself. Last evening, when I got back home while having my dinner, he complained that he was not well and experiencing chest pain since morning. I thought not much about it as knowing my Dad sometimes he takes too much rice and may overeat at times. I literally took my time finishing my dinner and washing up. About 7.20 pm, I took him to the clinic for check up. While waiting for his turn, he ask for some water and at that moment of time, it dawn to me that my Dad is really not well. He was having some difficulty breathing. While inside the consultation room with the doctor, he explain to the doctor about his being not well and it dawn to me that my Dad has really aged. He is 72 but he doesnt look his age. Doctor took his BP and was normal. (expectedly cos Dad is on medication for hyper tension). Next was ECG, and the print out doesnt look good. Dad was having a heart attack right before my eyes !! Doctor advise to admit him IMMEDIATELY. I have to remain calm for Dad and myself and not show any fear or panic for fear Dad may not take it. Doctor asked which hospital I prefer and very calmly I told him Selangor Medical center in Shah Alam. He recommended two specialist that I can refer to. So I drove like crazy and Dad was trying to calm me down, saying he is alright and no need to drive so fast. On the way, he says he was thirsty (i dont have any water in the car), so I told Dad try to relax, rest and we will be in the hospital in no time. Thank God, we arrived the center safely and the doctor attended to him immediately. Then the big bom, all the ICU beds have been taken up and there is NO place for my Dad !! Oh shit !!! At first, I couldnt understand what the doctor was telling me, until she has to explain like word for word (I look like a jerk and sooooo stupid). She recommended Klang GH. I look at her straight in the face, "We just came from Klang !!". So I am left with no other choice but back to Klang. Doctor advise to send Dad in an ambulance NOT in my car in his case as time is critical. The medical team gave him medication with morphine to stabilised him before sending him to Klang in the ambulance. The team there was very professional.

While in the hospital, I called mum to update her on Dad's situation. My twins stayed overnight at mums as I was with Dad. Managed to get my brother and he only arrived when Dad was in Emergency ward (red zone) - Klang GH. That was almost 1030 pm. The medical team in Klang acted swiftly when Dad arrived and the "Boss" in charge, Dr Wong (male doctor) was immediately summoned to attend to Dad. After going through his report, he ask me why only almost 12 hours later only admit him ?? Its like, your Dad is lucky to be alive right NOW !! Another doctor was roped for advise, Dr Tan (lady doctor). She says, there may be some blockage and will have to put Dad on drip inorder to unblock the blockage. For the medicine to take effect, it would be another hour or so. During that time, I went back to mum's place, thinking of taking my twins back and asking my nephew to stay with them until Dad is out from emergency. When I reached mum's place, my twins was soundly asleep. Not wanting to disturb their sleep, Mum says let them sleep overnight. So, I was back in the hospital about 1130. At that time, Dad's heart beat was still not stabilised yet. Finally, 1230 Doctor approved Dad to be move into ICU. Phew... that was a good sign and great relief. He was placed in ICU - 8th floor. Doctor told me even though his condition has stabilised but the attack may come any time and we have to be prepared !!

I was finally back home at about 1 am in the morning. Thank God for keeping Dad alive and giving me the strength to keep calm throughout the night.
