The week that was ...

Prologue : I thought mine would be the only post today but looks like S beat me to it.....

It has been almost a week since the last posting in our blog. M, in spite of her promise, has yet to post a single entry since the inception of this blog, or our previous blog, for that matter.

The past week was tough on S as her dad was hospitalized but thank God, Uncle has reasonably recovered and was discharged on Monday. E must have been busy or could be her streamyx problem is getting from bad to worse as we see her going online, offline and online again on MSN messenger.

As for me, saddened as I was by the loss of Ah Tuen, I was simply not in the mood to write because whatever I would have written would have sounded depressing. Incidentally, since I ‘m on a ‘dog’ topic, it was my Fat Boy’s birthday yesterday. He is 8. Happy Birthday Fai !

In the midst of all that’s happened, in case you have doubts, I am happy to tell you that God answers prayers. In my previous post, I mentioned asking my friend Grace to pray for my other friend. Well, this friend’s got a new job offering higher pay, (and her pay is not low for a young chico, you know!) She’ll be given Saturdays off etc…My friend has since tendered her resignation and should be starting work in her new office in July. Don’t stop believing in miracles and in the power of prayers!! Amen! Hmmm…God is like Grace’s ATM, she only needs to key in her request and out comes the answer… envy.. envy.. She reads our blog so girls, send in your requests!
